Faith and Science Graduate Courses

Instructor: Deacon Robert J. Hesse, Ph.D.

Description

The course shows science affirms faith in the relational nature of God’s unconditional indwelling love for everyone on earth. It enables the student to recognize God’s revelation is consistent chronologically between nature, tradition, and scripture. It is accessible in language non-scientists and non-theologians can understand and includes numerous quotations from sacred texts, renowned scientists and theologians. It is interfaith in scope with a Catholic emphasis; students are encouraged to personalize what they learn into their own belief system. It covers practical applications for many ministries with the support of numerous international conferences. It is inspired by St. Augustine of Hippo: ”Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature.”
