Bill Gorsky is a Mining Geologist. For twenty years, he worked in mining and exploration honing his engineering and scientific knowledge in the natural environment. After leaving the mining profession, Bill traveled

extensively, spending many months in third-world countries and much time in the Amazon. These experiences changed his life dramatically.

A master craftsman for more than thirty-five years, Bill developed his own business completing commercial, residential and spiritual projects including liturgical furnishings for five church projects.

As a young man, Bill spent six years in a Catholic seminary. After leaving the seminary, his spiritual pursuits led him to the study and practice of Buddhism for fifteen years.

Following meetings with Thomas Keating and many years visiting St. Benedict’s monastery in Snowmass, Colorado, Bill embraced Centering Prayer as a lifetime practice.
