Pam Stockton, M. Th., M.A., J.D.

Pam Stockton is Vice President and officer of Contemplative Network representing the Trappist contemplative tradition.  She has lived in Texas since the age of three, and enjoyed a first career as a business lawyer in Houston.  In 1999 she retired to discover realms left unexplored during those years.  In 2006 she received a Master of Theological Studies degree and a Certificate in Women’s Studies from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.  Pam also earned the degree of Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology, graduating in December 2010.  She is currently pursuing professional credentialing in counseling.

In early 1999, Pam attended a Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop conducted by the late Fred Eckert, and began a daily Centering Prayer.  Since 2000, she has co-facilitated a weekly Centering Prayer group at Christ Church Cathedral offered by Brigid’s Place, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of women in mind, body, and spirit.
